Letter: Tesla “FSD (Supervised)” – Questions to Answer Before Recognising the Provisional Approval

On 12 June 2026, ETSC sent letters to the Transport Ministers of nearly all EU Member States, urges the Ministers to seek answers and evidence to several key questions related to the safety of FSD (Supervised), before deciding on whether or not to accept the provisional approval for their territory.

The letter was not sent to the Netherlands, as it had granted the provisional EU type approval. It was also not sent to Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, and Lithuania, as they had already accepted the provisional approval.
