The 2026 ETSC Road Safety Performance Index (PIN) Conference and award ceremony took place in Brussels on 23 June.
During the event, ETSC presented the findings of the PIN Annual Report looking at progress in reducing road deaths and serious injuries across all PIN countries. ETSC also presented the PIN Award to Denmark for its outstanding progress in improving road safety.
A high-level panel discussion involving representatives of the European Commission, Eurocities, T&E, ECF, the Danish Road Safety Council and ETSC considered what needs to be done to achieve the road safety targets set for 2030.
