Safe and Sober talk: The fight against drink-driving in Ireland

The European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) in association with the Road Safety Authority (RSA) and the Medical Bureau of Road Safety (MBRS) is organising a Safe and Sober seminar in Ireland on the morning of Friday 19 January 2024 at University College Dublin.  

The event will provide insights into the drink-driving situation in Ireland as well as case studies from EU member states.  Speakers from a range of agencies national and international will discuss drink driving issues as well as raising awareness on the impact of Alcohol Interlock technology / rehabilitation programmes to help reduce the number of alcohol-related road deaths.   The event will include practical demonstrations of alcohol interlock technology.
