The event was kindly hosted by Dan Ťok (Minister of Transport),  Olga Sehnalová (Member of the European Parliament), Jiří Dušek (Member of the Senate), as well as Marian Jurečka and Milan Feranec (Members of Parliament).

The European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) and the Czech Transport Research Centre (CDV) organised the Safe and Sober Talk “The Influence of Alcohol on Road Safety” in Prague on 28 May 2018.

During the Safe and Sober Talk in Prague, experts outlined the drink driving situation in the Czech Republic, while international experts from Sweden presented their experiences with alcohol interlock programmes. Participants also discussed measures to tackle drink driving in the Czech Republic with politicians as well as representatives from the Ministry of Transport, the police and civil society.
