Do road safety agencies and health systems lead to lower traffic injuries?

A new peer-reviewed paper published in Accident Analysis & Prevention has looked at the impact of road safety agencies and health systems across 146 countries from 1994 to 2012.

The authors conclude that road safety agencies have beneficial effects in the long run when targeting traffic injuries and health systems have beneficial effects when targeting traffic deaths.
