In memoriam – José Miguel Trigoso

ETSC was sorry to hear the news that our dear colleague and friend José Miguel Trigoso, president of our Portuguese member, PRP, passed away in August. 

Below you can read a translation of the thoughtful and generous public tribute that PRP has paid to Mr Trigoso, and which we would like to echo.  

PRP, Prevenção Rodoviária Portuguesa, publicly expresses its deep sorrow at the death of José Miguel Guedes Reis Trigoso, President of its Board of Directors.

Recognised nationally and internationally as a leading voice in the field of road safety, with unquestionable technical abilities and exceptional human qualities, he dedicated his life to the cause and contributed to saving thousands of lives.

His invaluable legacy to society, as well as his kindness, resilience, altruism, wisdom and friendship, will live on.

At this time of deep sorrow, the Prevenção Rodoviária Portuguesa would like to pay tribute to José Miguel Guedes Reis Trigoso and, on behalf of all its staff, expresses its most heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
