In the last five years, 100,000 people died on EU roads, and hundreds of thousands more were injured. Without bold action, a similar number will die over the next five years.
Following the EU elections in June 2024, ETSC is asking MEPs, transport ministers and other high-profile stakeholders to recommit to:
- The EU’s 2030 targets to reduce road deaths and serious injuries by 50% by 2030
- Implementation of EU and national measures to help achieve those targets
The campaign will run on social media and the ETSC website from September 2024.
