Project receives Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in London
On 12 December, at The Savoy Hotel in London, the EU Road Safety Exchange project received one of the highest accolades in the field – a prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award, during the award ceremony hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent. The awards recognise achievement and innovation which improve road safety.
The Annual Awards Luncheon Ceremony is attended by about three hundred people including a number of international leading road safety professionals. It has become an extremely prestigious event in the international road safety calendar.
The EU Road Safety Exchange, an initiative funded by the European Parliament and managed by the European Transport Safety Council on behalf of the European Commission, is a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation. It brings together the expertise of national representatives from EU Member States who exchange good practice and experience using a hands-on approach.
