Denmark remains one of the top-performing countries in terms of road safety, with a rate of 26 road deaths per million population. The country has a wealth of good practices to share with others. In recent years, Denmark’s approach to urban mobility and the promotion of cycling culture have become exemplary, showcasing how to transition towards green and safe mobility.
These lessons are invaluable, particularly for countries embarking on a similar path. As a result, Denmark is joining the new phase of the EURSE project to exchange its practices in urban road safety, specifically focusing on two-wheelers and micromobility, and road safety education.
