While France, like many other EU countries, faces road safety challenges in returning to pre-Covid levels of road deaths, the country’s focus on key areas continues to set an example within the region. Notably, France’s approach to speed management and the enforcement of speeding regulations has been a leading practice.
As this topic remains one of the key areas of interest in the new phase of the EURSE project, the French experience and good practices in this regard will enable countries to exchange views on possible improvements and approaches to efficient speed management.
