16 October 2025 – EU Road Safety Exchange II Final Event
16 October 2025, 09:00-12:00 CEST
Three years ago, following a successful pilot project, nineteen EU Member States set out on a shared journey to make Europe’s roads safer. Through the EU-funded Road Safety Exchange II project, transport experts from across the continent worked together to tackle pressing challenges: reducing speed, designing safer infrastructure, improving enforcement and data collection, and protecting pedestrians and cyclists in urban areas.
EU Road Safety Exchange has now grown into one of the EU’s most dynamic platforms for cooperation on road safety.
Now, as this phase of the project reaches its conclusion, we invite you to join us for the high-level final event in Brussels. This gathering will bring together representatives from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden.
Together, we will:
- Celebrate the project’s achievements and impact.
- Share lessons learned and best practices.
- Showcase how exchanges have inspired new ideas, initiatives and partnerships across Europe.
Senior officials from the European Commission and the European Parliament will take part, underscoring the project’s political significance and its lasting contribution to safer roads for everyone.
