ETSC joins call for European Commission to prioritise road safety in upcoming revision of EU driving and rest time rules

ETSC has joined with the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF), the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) and the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR) in urging the EU institutions to give full priority to road safety when revising the EU driving and rest time rules. In particular, the statement calls for there to be no relaxation of the rules for buses and coaches.
